Rio-
This Sweet boy is Rio, a 9-year-old Black Lab with a heartbreaking beginning but one of the Sweetest personalities you could ever meet. Will came to us alongside his 1-year-old Golden brother after their owners became unhoused. We were told the two boys were later found by employees of a local business locked inside a car by themselves, where they may have been for several days. Despite everything these boys have been through, they arrived ready to move forward — and Rio just wants to be laying on someones couch!
He is a sweet old guy who just likes relaxing outside and getting pet! if you have room on your couch and in your heart please let us know!
Will-
This handsome boy is Will, a 1-year-old Golden Retriever with a heartbreaking beginning but one of the happiest personalities you could ever meet.
Will came to us alongside his 8-year-old Lab brother after their owners became unhoused. We were told the two boys were later found by employees of a local business locked inside a car by themselves, where they may have been for several days.
Despite everything these boys have been through, they arrived ready to move forward — and Will is making the absolute most of every day.
If Will could tell you one thing about himself, it would be: THROW. THE. BALL.
This boy LOVES his ball. Fetch is his favorite thing in the entire world, and if you’re willing to keep throwing it, Will is willing to keep bringing it back!
At just a year old, Will is still very much a young Golden with plenty of enthusiasm for life. He is currently working with our team on staying calm, managing his excitement, and learning that he doesn’t have to do everything at 100 miles an hour. He’s making progress and is such a fun, happy boy to work with.
After such an uncertain start, what Will needs now is something simple: a family of his own, lots of love, and preferably someone with a really good throwing arm.
His past may be part of his story, but it certainly doesn’t define him. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter looks like for this sweet boy.

Journey-
Journey came to us after spending several weeks on the run through Minot, Hebron, and Mechanic Falls. We believe this sweet girl was originally dumped in a cornfield and left to fend for herself.Despite everything she has been through, Journey is an absolutely amazing girl who is simply looking for a family to call her own. ❤️Journey is about 3 years old and truly has so much love to give.🐶 She loves other dogs🐱 She loves cats👧 She loves kids❤️ She LOVES one-on-one attention🛋️ And when the adventure is over, she is a total couch-potato and snuggle-in-bed kind of girl!Journey would love nothing more than to have a family of her own to curl up with at the end of the day.There is one very important thing her future family needs to know: Journey is a runner. After surviving on the run for so long, it seems to be part of her DNA. Because of this, Journey’s forever home must have a securely fenced-in backyard.We also strongly recommend a Fi GPS tracking collar for her as an extra layer of protection. We never want this girl to have to be “Journey” again! ❤️She has already had quite the journey. FROSTY-
Mr. Frosty is a 5-year-old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon who sadly lost his owner.He is a very sweet, shy boy who needs a little time to feel comfortable. Frosty previously lived with cats and LOVES them! In fact, he is much more comfortable around cats than he is around other dogs.
